TSKFA KARATE COMES TO PERTH



TSKF Chief Instructor Takahashi Shihan TSKF Australia is proud to announce that they will soon be opening up 2 more Dojos in Western Australia, one in Harvey, approx. 130km south of Perth and a second in Perth city.

In the lead up to these Dojos opening, TSKF Australia has organized a joint training seminar under the instruction of TSKF Chief Instructor Takahashi Shihan, who arrives into Perth from Japan to commence his first visit to all TSKF Australia Dojos for 2012. Also in attendance will be Deputy Chief Instructor Mark Willis Sensei, TSKF Australia Chairman John Russo Sensei and TSKF Geraldton Chief Instructor Pasco Costantino Sensei.

Training takes place at the University of Western Australia, 35 Stirling Highway, Crawley at the following times:-

Saturday 11th Feb 4.00pm – 5.30pm
Sunday 12th Feb 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Monday 13th Feb1.00pm – 2.30pm4.00pm – 6.00pm

An open invitation is extended to anyone from the Perth area wishing to try Traditional Shotokan Karate, or who may have a background in other styles of karate to come along to the training seminars. For further information contact Sensei Pasco Costantino 0419 953 811.





TSKF Australia is looking forward to an exciting and busy year ahead with a number of events already planned for the next 6 months. We are very pleased to announce that Sensei Yutaka Yaguchi, 9th Dan, ISKF Vice Chief Instructor, will be in attendance as Guest Instructor from USA. Yaguchi Sensei brings 61 years of karate experience, and a wealth of knowledge. Takahashi Shihan and the Board of TSKFA are very much looking forward to welcoming him to Australia. The TSKF Australian National Team Selections will take place at the Nationals for our team to contest the ISKF World Cup to be held in the Philippines in November. This is indeed an exciting time for our members.

Takahashi Shihan commences his first trip for 2012 in February in Perth, Western Australia to conduct training and grading seminars at all our Dojos. The Wide Bay Karate Titles will be held on May 5 & 6, and the Queensland Titles 18-21 July, all to be held in Childers. I urge as many of our members to try to avail yourselves of these fantastic opportunities to broaden your karate knowledge by training under Takahashi Shihan and a number of experienced senior instructors.

TSKFA invites other like-minded Shotokan groups to join with our members to participate in any of all of the abovementioned events and also participate in training seminars conducted by Takahashi Shihan. Interested groups should contact the Office of TSKFA (details on this website), or the TSKFA Dojo Head in your region to obtain dates, venues and training times when Shihan will be visiting.
